A regular visitor to our garden but only when the weather is severe, which is why I have no pictures taken on a sunny day!

This was near the car when we arrived at Rutland water on a beautiful sunny calm day.

It is not a great picture but it is unusual.

Attracted to my garden by some apples put onto the tree, a pound well spent.

Corn buntings & fox

The fox put all the corn buntings up as he crossed the field in front of me, one of the many predators that regularly harass the flocks, I have also seen male and female merlins and the sparrowhawk.
